Peter Ablinger:
ἀοιδή - REDE OHNE WORTE
für Stimme, Klavierquintett und Tonband, 2021

Churchill adresses US congress, Washington, December 1941

A piece in the instrumentation of Schoenberg's "Ode to Napoleon" (1943). Schoenberg's model for the design of the speaker in his "Ode" was Churchill.

Churchill became the source material for the "ἀοιδή". His speach was both transformed to a noise grid (compare: Quadraturen I/Quadraturen II) and the given instrumentation.
