Irreversibel
3 Solos aus "Ins Nasse 2", 1991
Irreversible - 3 solos
originally designed as simultaneous parts within the piece "Ins Nasse 2" (1991), the solos have actually been performed as solos - as individual pieces or in sequence.
The minimal instructions for this are:
Irreversible 1, books
Pick up 6 books one after the other and tear out all the pages from the first to the last.
Irreversible 2, glasses
Place 6 glasses one after the other on a metal plate that is jacked up at a slight angle; make the metal plate vibrate with a bass bow so that the glass starts to move and slowly reaches the opposite end of the plate, eventually falling and breaking.
Irreversible 3, guitar
Tune up all 6 strings in sequence from the lowest to the highest string and strike them again and again - until they break.
