Das Stück HOTEL DEUTSCHES HAUS bezieht sich auf eine Straßenecke in Berlin-Kreuzberg (Ecke Manteuffel-/Wiener Straße). Eigentlich ist diese Ecke bereits das Stück. Oder anders herum: Diese Ecke ist das eigentliche Stück. (Man kann diesen Ort als Klanginstallation begreifen – allerdings wurde nichts installiert, außer der Absicht, diesen Ort als Klanginstallation begreifen zu wollen.)
Das Instrumentaltrio ist dagegen eine Art Anhang zum „eigentlichen“ Stück, dem Ort. Ein Foto davon. Ein Kommentar dazu. Eine von vielen Versionen, etwas „über“ diese Straßenecke zu sagen.
The piece HOTEL DEUTSCHES HAUS refers to a street corner in Berlin-Kreuzberg (corner Manteuffel-/Wiener Straße). Actually this corner is already the piece. Or, the other way around: This corner is the actual piece. (One can comprehend this place as a sound installation - though nothing has been installed, except the intention to comprehend this place as a sound installation.)
The instrumental trio on the other hand is a sort of supplement to the "actual" piece, the place. A photo from it. A commentary thereto. One of many versions saying something "about" this street corner.

2001 stand an dieser Stelle das ehemalige "Hotel Deutsches Haus", welches zuletzt als Asylantenheim Verwendung fand. 2008 wurde an gleicher Stelle eine Moschee gebaut.
2001, at this site, the former "Hotel Deutsches Haus" (Hotel German House) was standing, which was being used as an asylum home. 2008 at the same place a mosque was under construction. (english notes edited by Austin Buckett)
